    The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) conducts the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET), a state-level test, to establish candidates’ ability to teach at the Primary (Classes 1–5) and Upper Primary (Classes 6-8) levels in Punjabi schools. For Papers 1 and 2, the PSTET test is administered in two shifts. Candidates who wish to teach classes 1 through 5 take Paper 1 of the PSTET, whereas candidates who want to teach classes 6 through 8 take Paper 2. Candidates must show up for both exams if they want to teach classes 1 through 8.

    As per the Punjab TET Eligibility norms, a candidate must be a citizen of India belonging to the Punjab state to apply for PSTET.

    Pstet Eligibility: Age Limits

    The minimum age limit for the PSTET 2021 exam is 18 years. Whereas there is no upper age limit for any category for the Punjab TET exam.

     Number of Attempts: 

    There is no limit on the number of attempts to be given by a person. Candidates who wish to improve their result in PSTET exam can also appear for the exam even if they have qualified it once.
